Houtine operates the Houtine mobile apps for Android and iOS and the Houtine website. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.
Information We Collect
We collect account information (name and email), the family members you add (first name, optional last name, birth date and profile photo), content you create in the app (routines, goals, tasks, rewards, comments and assistant chat messages), usage data via Firebase Analytics, device data for crash reporting (Sentry), push notification tokens, and subscription data via Google Play, the App Store, RevenueCat and Stripe.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Houtine service, manage your account and subscriptions, send service notifications, analyze app usage, and respond to support requests.
Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (analytics and push notifications), Google Play Billing and the App Store (in-app purchases), RevenueCat (in-app subscriptions), Stripe (web payments), Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and Sentry (error tracking). If you choose to connect them, Amazon Alexa and the AI provider you select (using your own API key) receive the requests you make through those integrations.
Children's Information
Houtine accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who adds family members and their routines. We only use children's information to provide the service to the family, we do not show ads, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes. A parent can edit or delete a family member, or delete the whole account, at any time.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
